1st round of eliminations at a Mako race in 2008 we learned how to put your hood into low earth orbit!

After this I realized how much air was getting trapped under the hood and that 4 hood pins is not enough! The hood pins actually sheared letting the hood come off… I added two dzus fasteners on the front edge of the hood after this to prevent it from doing it again.
